We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive quality assurance for a high-impact enterprise software project. The Test Lead will manage and execute testing activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that software meets functional, usability, and security standards. This is a hybrid role based in Minneapolis, with remote options available for strong candidates.

responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
- Lead system integration (SIT) and user acceptance (UAT) testing efforts.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Manage testers, maintain JIRA dashboards, and track defect metrics.
- Facilitate daily testing meetings and coordinate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and vendors.
- Report test results and progress to leadership and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvements and testing documentation standards.
- Support enterprise application projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and executive presence.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Self-starter with initiative and adaptability.
- Experience with regulatory or process-heavy projects preferred.
qualifications:
Qualifications
7-20 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including test leadership.
Experience in enterprise-scale IT environments or regulated industries.
Strong JIRA experience (setup, execution, reporting).
Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases (manual focus; automation not required).
Experience facilitating meetings and reporting to executive leadership.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with Waterfall methodology; utility or energy industry experience preferred.
