Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Financials professional to implement, support, and enhance Oracle ERP Financial modules. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, configure solutions, and ensure seamless financial operations using Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support end-to-end implementation of Oracle Financial modules, including:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Cash Management

    • Fixed Assets (FA)

    • Expense Management

    • Procurement and Subledger Accounting (SLA)

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle functional designs.

  • Configure financial modules based on business needs and Oracle best practices.

  • Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, reports, and customizations.

  • Manage data migration activities using tools like FBDI, ADFdi, or WebADI.

  • Conduct testing (SIT/UAT), validate results, and support defect resolution.

  • Provide training, documentation, and post-go-live support to end users.

  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates, patches, and new functionality.

  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory regulations.

  • Work on reporting solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, or Smart View.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 3 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials Cloud or EBS.

  • Strong functional knowledge in at least two financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA).

  • Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Knowledge of Accounting setups, Chart of Accounts design, and multi-currency transactions.

  • Understanding of integration points with other Oracle modules (Procurement, Projects, HCM).

  • Experience in FBDI/ADFi data loading, BI reporting, and security configuration.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Oracle Financials Cloud certification preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with global implementations and multi-entity, multi-currency environments.

  • Knowledge of OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) for financial integrations.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Exposure to tax and compliance setups (e.g., e-invoicing, GST, or VAT).

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
