Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our computer systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment while utilizing your expertise in hardware and software support.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive updates and configurations on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely solutions to maintain productivity.
Manage Active Directory tasks, including user access and permissions.
Coordinate with business units to prioritize system updates and ensure project timelines are met.
Install and configure Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems across various devices.
Conduct regular maintenance and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical problems.
Collaborate with team members to implement configuration management strategies.
Provide technical support for desktop users, addressing inquiries and resolving system-related concerns.
Document processes and maintain accurate records of system updates and support activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding IT systems.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, including user and group configurations.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Familiarity with configuration management practices and tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and business units.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
