About the Role:
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you ll join our Corporate Tax Solutions team, serving as a trusted advisor to clients on business income tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting. You'll take ownership of engagements from planning to execution, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality tax solutions. You'll take ownership of engagements from planning to execution, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality tax solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage client tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, and budget management
Supervise and mentor staff including associates, senior associates, and interns
Review corporate tax returns and identify tax-saving opportunities
Conduct and review ASC 740 tax provision engagements
Collaborate with internal teams, including the Washington National Tax Office
Respond to IRS, State, and other tax authority inquiries
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services with clients
Stay up to date with industry developments through training and development programs
Maintain high client service standards and strict confidentiality
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiables):
Hybrid availability at least 2 days onsite (office or client location)
Active CPA or JD license
Corporate tax experience including ASC 740 (Tax Provision)
Currently working in a Manager-level tax role
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
Experience in public accounting
Familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision software
Exposure to state and local taxation, international tax, and transfer pricing
