Description:


Learning and Communications Specialist

Develops and delivers various training programs to channel partners, Company personnel, and customers. Training programs include, but are not limited to products, services, and/or professional skills with heavy emphasis on product features, applications, and product system technologies.

MAJOR DUTIES :
Delivers training to channel partners, Company employees, or customers. Extensive travel may be required to deliver training to fulfill audience requirements. Adapts, researches, and develops content and training materials and activities for training programs and other related training activity. Distributes/shares training information with appropriate channel partners, Company personnel, and customers. Assists/supports channel partners, Company personnel, and customers regarding content and delivery. Researches various topics through self-development in order to improve individual expertise in both training subject matter/content and delivery skills. Constructs and maintains training aids and equipment, classroom exercises, simulations, and practice exercises. Documents training curriculum for Instructor Guide, maintains and updates Instructor Guide. Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the course meeting its objectives during delivery and from evaluations. Makes appropriate changes to course materials and delivery. Utilizes knowledge of training to promote training products, training systems, and training materials. Responsible for classroom/training event administration (acquiring roster, taking enrollment, completing exit evaluations) and communicating results to appropriate personnel or system.

Specific Position Requirements:
Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and partner on delivering training programs for client employees, focusing on technology and productivity solutions. This includes product features, applications, and system technologies.
Content Development: Research, adapt, and develop high-level training materials and activities for various classes, including marketing, technical, management, and sales.
Training Aids: Construct and maintain training aids, classroom exercises, simulations, and practice exercises as appropriate for the curricula.
Evaluation and Improvement: Continually evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make appropriate changes to course materials and delivery.
Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Product and Communications in developing and delivering relevant timely material.
Communication Plans: Develop detailed communication plans to ensure key audiences receive important messages regarding current projects, events, or changes impacting the business.
Content Creation: Write, develop, and coordinate strategic communication content that impacts the knowledge and understanding of key projects, events, or business changes.
Media Utilization: Work with multiple media such as video, design, and print to share function-related information.

Skills and Qualifications:
Effective Writing Skills: Strong grammatical usage, persuasive copy, and style.
Instructional Design Experience: Familiarity with educational theory, instructional design, and curriculum development.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Office 365 suite, and Copilot a plus
Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
