Job Title: Infrastructure/Operations IT Architect (Senior Data Architect)
Duration: 12 Months
Client: Judicial Council of California
Location: San Francisco, CA
Note: Position can be 100% remote but preferred to have candidates who can work at San Francisco headquarters two days/week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Additional days' onsite may be required periodically.

Job Description:
- Extensive hands-on experience architecture, implementing, and managing cloud-based data warehouse solutions (with strong preference for direct experience in Snowflake, AWS, or Azure).
- Deep and demonstrable expertise in advanced database design, sophisticated data modeling (e.g., dimensional modeling, normalization), ETL/ELT pipeline design, and pipeline automation tools (particularly Snowflake and Talend).
- Proven senior-level experience translating highly complex business and research requirements into executable, technically sophisticated data solutions.
- Strong track record of effectively presenting complex technical concepts and solutions clearly to CIOs, heads of data services, and other senior IT and business executives.
- Experience resolving technical conflicts and facilitating effective collaboration between business and technical teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance practices, with proven experience creating and implementing robust data policies and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing analytics dashboards and visualizations (e.g., PowerBI).
- Familiarity with courtroom operations, judicial workflows, and government regulatory reporting environments.
- Experience collaborating with security, compliance, and privacy teams on regulatory requirements and frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC2, GDPR).
- Background in user-centered design methodologies and user research to inform architectural and technical solutions.
