Cardinal IP is looking for passionate, innovative professional to join our team remotely as the Software Technical Lead (Team Leader). You will oversee the engineering team and all the sustaining projects they undertake, analyze briefs, write progress reports, identify risks, and develop work schedules. You will lead your team and inspire them to reach their goals.
To be successful as a technical lead, you will continue to expand your product knowledge and improve your ability to quickly identify problems and solutions. This development will occur in an Agile environment, typically in fixed-length sprints, with regular interactions with Product Owners and other team members.

Position Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Lead a team of engineers (Backend and Frontend) working on design and development of software applications
  • Perform research and development on new technologies while delivering proof of concepts
  • Lead and own the development of new and enhanced existing software using Microsoft .NET Core/3.1 with Cloud-native technologies.
  • Lead the development of APIs with RESTful principles leveraging automation and monitoring tooling to take it to production.
  • Lead Azure cloud infrastructure with services such as Kubernetes, Service Bus, KeyVaults, Redis, SQL Database, etc.
  • Define coding standard and microservices architecture for company's products.
  • Manage CI/CD in Azure DevOps with Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Analyze business requirements and perform architecture design.
  • Analyze/Document technical environments and perform infrastructure design.
  • Engineer the best solution aligned with business goals based on cloud/on-premises - infrastructure for business projects and problems.
  • Ensure that app development follows the architecture blueprint and established coding standards.
  • Identify risks and propose risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture.
  • Mentor and direct team members.
  • Act as a backup to DBA and DevOps engineer.
  • Coordinate and work with project managers in planning
  • Coordinate and work with the QA team to ensure application quality.
  • Coordinate and work with the Support team to address critical application issues in a timely fashion.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Total 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 10 years of .Net (with at least 5 years backend focused)
  • 3+ years' experience with Azure and AzureDevops
  • 3+ years' experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • 5+ years' experience with Windows OS, Windows Services, and IIS 7+
  • Demonstrated expertise Entity Framework Core 3.1+
  • Demonstrated expertise in RESTful APIs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in .NET Core 3.1+.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ASP.NET MVC with .NET Framework (4.0+).
  • Demonstrated expertise with Domain Driven Design.
  • Demonstrated expertise with software design patterns.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented and SOLID principles
  • Proficient in MS-SQL, Indexes, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.
  • Proficient in token-based authentication such as OAuth.
  • Familiar with React.js, node.js and npm.

  • Familiar in SAML Auth and AD FS.

  • Familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiar with Linux

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related
