Java Software Engineer
Experience: 8+ years. Location: Remote (US)

As a Java Software Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops efficient and maintainable program code.

  • Develop efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving business problems.

  • Provides consulting support for Engineering and Business partners by researching, identifying, and resolving technical programming problems.

  • Meets established deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.

  • Communicates clearly in a timely manner through listening, verbal, and written communication with Project Manager, Manager, and everyone on the team.

  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development including unit test creation.

  • Expected deliverables include but are not limited to requirement analysis, system design, data models, source code development, test case development, testing, and documentation.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree BE / ME / BTech / MTech / BSc / MSc.

  • Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Skills:

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Build Tools (Maven), SQL (Oracle / MS SQL Server), Python, Testing Frameworks, or equivalent.

Good to have skills:

  • Familiar with EDI Transactions, Automated testing frameworks, EDIFECS.

Specific technologies to be used and level of proficiency:

  • Mid to high: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Build Tools (Maven), SQL (Oracle / MS SQL Server), Python.
