Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Minimum Experience: 12+ Years

Prior State Government Client Experience: Highly Desired! ** We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst with a strong background in IT Business Analysis and hands-on ServiceNow expertise.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 15 years of experience in IT Business Analysis, Project Management, or related roles within an IT environment.

  • 3 5 years of hands-on experience supporting ServiceNow, with familiarity in basic platform administration (CSA Preferred).

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices, platform features, and functionalities.

  • Ability to align business requirements with ServiceNow capabilities and provide viable solutions.

  • Proven ability to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver solutions aligned with IT standards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including:

    • Delivering presentations and training

    • Hosting meetings and gathering requirements

    • Customer-centric engagement

  • Effective team collaboration and participation in team-based activities.

  • Proficiency with:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Microsoft Teams, Zoom

    • Other cloud-based productivity tools


Preferred Certifications:

  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certification (Preferred, not mandatory)

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Preferred)


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem including out-of-the-box capabilities, custom applications, and integrations.

  • Develop, update, and manage knowledgebase content (how-to guides, help articles, quick tips).

  • Collaborate with Product Manager to identify and implement platform improvements and enhance user experience.

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions and create functional specifications and mockups.

  • Support user onboarding and provide training on ServiceNow features.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ServiceNow user-facing functions:

    • Ticketing and request management

    • Dashboards and reporting

    • Performance Analytics

    • Data exports and integrations

  • Stay updated on ServiceNow upgrades, releases, and feature enhancements.

  • Provide end-user support, training, and guidance.

  • Perform administrative tasks on the platform such as managing users, groups, roles, and access.
