RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Senior Applications Systems Analyst.

Summary:
The Senior Applications Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting key software solutions across enterprise platforms. While the role involves elements of systems analysis and business engagement, it also requires a strong foundation in application development, particularly in .NET and SQL Server. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a hybrid of business-facing analysis and deep technical execution. This position is critical in helping the organization translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technology solutions using modern development tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document system requirements for new or enhanced applications
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development tasks
* Design and develop applications using the .NET framework (C#), with a focus on backend logic and integration
* Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
* Develop and support database scripts, stored procedures, and queries using SQL Server
* Assist in system design, including data models, application logic, and user interfaces
* Create and maintain technical documentation and system specifications
* Participate in Agile ceremonies; Use project tracking tools such as Jira
* Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) to enhance development and documentation productivity
* Support system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting in collaboration with QA and operations teams
* Engage in continuous improvement of systems, tools, and development practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field-or equivalent work experience
* 7+ years of relevant experience in application development, systems analysis, or a hybrid of both
* Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework in a production environment
* Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, including writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and views
* Ability to analyze and design systems including UI, data flow, and backend logic
* Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with Jira or similar tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; Comfortable working cross-functionally with business and technical teams
* Solid programming experience (particularly in .NET) is essential for success in this position
* Candidates must always start on a Monday, due to onboarding/training
* Onsite requirement: (5x a week) Agoura Hills, CA 91301 or Plano, TX 75075

Interview Process:
* Assessment + 2 rounds
* Assessment (SQL) - sent directly to your email (have 48 hours to complete)
* Video First Round - Behavioral
* Final (can be onsite) - Technical - SQL/.Net

Assessment Notes for Future Candidates:

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
