Remote and requires travel.

Full Time Employment.

The Solution lead would work independently to create new, best-in-class solutions to meet the explicit or unmet requirements of the prospects, within the eco-system. The Solution lead would work with clientele in a fast-paced cross-functional design environment, utilizing his/her knowledge and experience with the latest technologies and industry practices. He/she would be responsible for defining the interfaces and interactions between complex components of a solution like solution design, data management, communication / regulatory protocols, etc. He/she will provide instruction, oversight, and mentoring to other solution architects and will push for excellence in themselves and the solution team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales organization to determine client sales strategies and to leverage data analysis to determine best use cases and course of action for each prospective organization.
  • Make presentations to target audiences (including internal) and at industry functions to educate and inspire prospects on Sutherland's Solutions
  • Conduct proactive industry requirements assessments and solution demonstrations to assist the sales team in developing new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both industry trends and knowledge of Sutherland solutions.
  • Walkthroughs and demonstration of the value of Sutherland's offerings and to provide recommendations to each prospective organization as to which services or solutions present the greatest potential opportunity in their eco-systems.
  • Conduct live/in-person and remote demonstrations of Sutherland platform and capabilities - including applicability of the same in organization-specific use cases, customized geographic or service line action plans, and recommendations for future projects; Run point on follow-up discussion with prospective clientele.
  • Own the solution design and deployment plan for client s requirements from design initiation through deployment.
  • Directly manage all aspects of the solution life cycle and works with matrixed business, clinical, operational, and IT partners, and vendors, to oversee all Solution Development LifeCycle (SDLC) phases of a project.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that solution fulfills the needs of the client and end business users, while ensuring the techno-functional realization of requirements; support the system requirement team in the generation and allocation of design input.
  • Collaborate with clinical, techno-functional, regulatory and business leaders throughout the company, to collectively determine functional/technical needs, strategy, and direction for the future product portfolio of the company.
  • Analyze industry trends and internalize them to create new solutions / service offerings for the eco-system; Drive solution design, feasibility studies and determine key system requirements based on user needs; Work with the client s functional design team architects to guide the detailed design implementation.
  • Establish and lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with other technical solution leads to architect and implement solutions.
  • Provide input to the system validation and verification team on test case/methodology development; develop/utilize models, characterization testing, analysis methods, and statistics to optimize designs
  • Develop Solutions roadmaps with value stream owners, platform/module owners and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvements and enforce the execution of them across the organization.
  • Perform tasks independently while effectively utilizing other team members.
  • Mentor, train, and lead other solution architects.
  • Stay current with industry technologies and help select those technologies best suited to the application and create roadmaps for evolution of existing products and new products.

Qualifications

  • At least 10+ years of related work experience with a complete understanding of Financial Services clients including Global and regional banks, Asset Management firms, Brokerages, Payments and Card providers, Mortgage originators and servicers. work experience
  • A deep industry knowledge in one or more of Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Card and Payment services or other Financial Services is critical.
  • Vast experience in the successful delivery of complex techno-functional programs
  • Experience developing products in a regulated environment of their respective industry is a must
  • Background as BFS functional consultant and knows what it takes to make high quality solutions.
  • Experience in working with requirement management.
  • Proven experiences in working with platforms or solutions in BFS space
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • 15+ years of experience in Solution development, including the solution design and integration of complex multi-discipline modules
  • Experience with client-facing executive presentations, as well as industry events
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Well versed in Agile development methods and best practices
  • Experience planning project deliveries, milestones, and schedules and leading sub-teams in the delivery of system design tasks
  • Collaborative, team oriented, business leader
  • Strong written, verbal, and communication skills
