Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage complex enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in network architecture, security, routing, switching, and cloud networking solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide technical leadership, drive modernization initiatives, and ensure high availability and security across all network layers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks.
Lead network architecture planning, optimization, and migration initiatives.
Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Oversee disaster recovery, redundancy planning, and high availability configurations.
Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Security teams for hybrid network integrations (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform).
Evaluate and implement new network technologies and vendor products.
Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction for network operations.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with organizational standards and SLAs.
Required Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto network devices.
Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP).
Experience with Firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Proxy solutions.
Familiarity with Network Monitoring Tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, NetFlow, etc.).
Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, QoS, and Network Automation (Python, Ansible).
Hands-on experience in Cloud Networking (AWS VPCs, Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
Understanding of Network Security Standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
Knowledge of IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and NAC (Network Access Control).
Preferred Certifications
CCNP / CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
JNCIP / JNCIE (Juniper)
Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE)
AWS Certified Advanced Networking / Azure Network Engineer Associate
ITIL Certification (Preferred)
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
