Sr. QA Automation Engineer / SDET (.NET Background)

Columbus, OH or Lincoln, NE - Onsite, 5 Days/Week

Duration: 3-4 Years

We're hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer/SDET with a strong background in .NET or Java, solid SQL scripting skills, and hands-on Selenium experience. This is a long-term, fully onsite role.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong coding background in .NET or Java

  • Heavy experience with SQL scripting

  • Automation testing with Selenium

  • Familiarity with React UI and API Test Automation

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Jenkins, Git, etc.)


Other:

  • Banking or financial industry experience

  • Prior work on application modernization or migration projects

  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber

  • Familiar with JEST for UI testing, and mocking tools like Mockito

  • Understanding of TestOps principles and frameworks


Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks

  • Automate tests for UI (React) and APIs

  • Use tools like NUnit, C#, Selenium, JavaScript, SQL, ReportPortal

  • Collaborate with QA, Dev, Product, and Release teams

  • Perform end-to-end automation from scripting to reporting

  • Debug test failures and report issues clearly

  • Help maintain CI/CD pipelines

  • Track test metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders

  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior testers


Requirement:

  • Bachelor s or Associate s degree in Computer Science (or related field)

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation

  • Strong scripting and programming in .NET languages (C#/VB), SQL, Selenium, VBScript

  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Postman, Jira, Git, Swagger

  • Strong understanding of modern test practices and agile methodologies
