SAP BRIM Functional Consultant

Job Description: SAP BRIM Functional Consultant (SOM / CC / CI)

Location: USA Remote

Experienced SAP BRIM Functional Consultant will have strong expertise in Subscription Order Management (SOM) and/or Convergent Charging (CC), with some knowledge of Convergent Invoicing (CI). This role involves end-to-end implementation, solution design, and functional support for SAP BRIM projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP BRIM solutions.
• Configure and implement SAP SOM processes including product modeling, order management, and subscription lifecycle.
• Design and optimize Convergent Charging (CC) models including charging plans, tariffs, and rating logic.
• Support integration with Convergent Invoicing (CI) and FI-CA for end-to-end billing and revenue processes.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure seamless system integration and solution delivery.
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT), support go-live, and provide post-implementation assistance.
• Create functional documentation, training materials, and deliver user training sessions.
• Recommend best practices and continuous improvements in subscription and usage-based billing processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of SAP consulting experience, including 3+ years in SAP BRIM.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SOM and/or Convergent Charging (CC).
• Knowledge of Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Understanding of FI-CA processes and integration touchpoints.
• Proven track record in end-to-end SAP BRIM implementations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BRIM certification(s).
• Industry experience in telecom, Communications, or subscription-based businesses.
