Title: Application Programmer V

Location: Northeast Region (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$47.49-$67.85/Hrs

Description
* Develop complex requirements and maintain applications in the Financial Crimes technology sector to achieve business goals.
* Design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting activities for maintaining the application.
* Collaborate closely with business partners to define requirements for system applications.
* Utilize in-depth knowledge of business requirements and technological alternatives to recommend competitive innovations.
* Provide insight and direction from a data perspective and participate in the full development lifecycle.
* Contribute to story refinement and estimate work necessary for delivery lifecycle.
* Setup and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Production Support, Platform teams, and Business Partners to manage technical aspects of the application.
* Promote and apply best practices and standards at project and program levels.
* Develop plans with business partners to sustain changes, including ongoing success measures.
* Analyze present-state, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation.
* Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.
* Ensure Agile practices and Enterprise Change Standards are met.

Qualifications
* 10 years of applicable experience.
* Strong data sourcing, modeling, and provisioning skills for large-scale data assets.
* Experience in database-intensive development, data migrations, and conversions.
* Knowledge and experience with performance tuning.
* Proficient in design/build, hands-on development, and coordination in a distributed environment.
* Experience in SDLC, Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and change management.
* Good knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts.
* Effective communication and listening skills.
