Anaplan Tester
Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: San Ramon, CA
Onsite Role
What You'll Do:
Design and execute comprehensive test plans for Anaplan models, dashboards, and integrations, covering functional to user acceptance testing.
Collaborate closely with Anaplan model builders and business users to translate requirements into robust test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) to ensure timely resolution.
Validate data integrity within Anaplan models, performing necessary reconciliation.
Automate testing processes where feasible using Anaplan Connect, APIs, or scripting tools.
Contribute to sprint planning and continuously improve testing methodologies.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintain thorough testing documentation.
Stay current with Anaplan features and best practices.
What You'll Bring:
2+ years of software testing experience, with a strong focus on Anaplan.
Proven expertise with the Anaplan platform, including models, modules, formulas, dashboards, and security.
Strong understanding of data integration concepts and experience testing Anaplan integrations (e.g., Anaplan Connect, APIs).
Familiarity with various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
SQL proficiency for data validation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent.
Nice to have:
Anaplan Certified Model Builder or Solution Architect.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
Experience with other EPM/CPM tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, OneStream).
