Job Description: We are seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Engineer with strong expertise in Splunk to join our Retail Technology team. This role will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions while ensuring real-time monitoring, security, and performance tracking using Splunk. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) with Splunk as a must-have expertise, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) skill. The candidate will work closely with e-commerce, digital marketing, IT, analytics, and customer experience teams to drive personalized online shopping experiences, customer engagement strategies, and seamless omnichannel integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Development & Optimization
- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) storefronts, APIs, and integrations.
- Work with Business Manager, Page Designer, and SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) for e-commerce enhancements.
- Implement product catalog management, cart & checkout optimization, and personalized user experiences.
- Integrate third-party payment gateways, inventory management, and order fulfillment systems.
Splunk Monitoring & Performance Optimization (MUST HAVE)
- Deploy, configure, and manage Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Cloud to monitor SFCC site performance, user behaviour, and security logs.
- Create Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports to track e-commerce traffic patterns, A/B testing insights, and fraud detection.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce Commerce Cloud logs, APIs, and real-time order processing data using Splunk.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Integration & Support (Secondary Skill)
- Support Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio to enhance e-commerce promotions and loyalty programs.
- Develop AMPscript, SQL Queries, and APIs to personalize email campaigns and cart abandonment recovery.
- Enable seamless integration between SFCC and SFMC for unified customer data and engagement tracking.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Primary Skill: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) 5+ years
- Must-Have: Splunk (Enterprise, Cloud, ITSI, Retail Analytics) 3+ years
- Secondary Skill: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) 3+ years
- Strong expertise in SFCC development, API integrations, and headless commerce solutions.
- Experience with e-commerce analytics, personalization engines, and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of Splunk for e-commerce transaction monitoring, site performance optimization, and security alerts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs for SFCC customization.
- Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for SFCC deployments.
