Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical DMZ Network Architect to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in defining architectural visions and creating robust architecture for large, complex DMZ networks that align with the company’s corporate strategy and technology frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading network project designs with a focus on SASE and Cloud designs and providing comprehensive infrastructure architecture across various DMZ Zones.

Responsibilities:
  • Define architectural visions and develop architectures for large, complex DMZ networks.
  • Lead DMZ network project designs focusing on SASE and Cloud integrations.
  • Create network level High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) and ensure solution delivery.
  • Assess design submissions for security compliance against established baselines.
  • Act as a liaison between Global Information Security and serve as an escalation point for engineering and operations teams.
  • Lead projects and manage assigned networking project components and deployments.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Network Infrastructure, including advanced protocols and configurations.
  • Contribute to the creation of architecture roadmaps and standardized templates within defined technology domains.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of industry experience with a focus on technology and network architecture.
  • 8-10 years’ experience integrating solutions within Cloud environments such as MS Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in routing, switching, and specific knowledge in Arista, Cisco Nexus, and Fortinet router configurations.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, SDN, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, and other network protocols.
  • Proficiency in using DDoS mitigation tools like Arbor, Prolexic/Akamai & F5/Silverline.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot multivendor network solutions in lab or POC environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Relevant technology degree or substantial equivalent experience is required.
  • Must have solid experience in DMZ/ISP environments and authentication mechanisms.

Pay Range: $65.00 - $85.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
