Role: Security System Administrator

Location: Phoenix, AZ(Remote)

Note: Only Locals to Arizona, F2F Interview

Description:

We are seeking a Security Systems Administrator on a contract basis to support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems across our IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in short-term engagements, delivering high-impact security solutions within defined timelines.
Key responsibilities:
Implement and Harden Security
Systems:
Deploy and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection; apply system hardening techniques.
Manage Access Control:
Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems; enforce IAM best practices.

Monitor and Respond to Incidents:
Track logs and alerts for security events; investigate and resolve incidents promptly.

Maintain Systems and Documentation:
Apply patches and updates, document configurations, security procedures, and deliverables.

Deliver Client-Focused Solutions:

Collaborate with client teams to meet security requirements within agreed timelines
