We are looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations (EO) Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team in supporting the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Your day-to-day work will include:
- Prioritizing and validating the development software for the Engagement Operations team.
- Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team.
- Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each planning interval and sprint.
- Technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
At a minimum you should have:
- ship, and residency near Huntsville, AL, or be willing to relocate.
- An active SECRET security clearance and ability to maintain.
- A basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts, including engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction, and sensor resource management.
- The ability to provide oversight to an EO SW development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
- Able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
- Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services is a plus.
- Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is an additional plus.
