Role: Product Manager/UX Architect

Duration: 12 month Contract to Perm

Location: New York, NY 10072

You will lead the vision and execution of user-centered design strategies across a diverse portfolio of products, platforms, and services. You'll collaborate with product teams, solution architects, and infrastructure partners to drive innovation, reduce friction, and elevate user satisfaction. This horizontal leadership role fosters best-in-class design practices and a culture of experimentation and empathy across product domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead end-to-end experience strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation across multiple products and services.
  • Deliver high-impact design solutions including service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and product features that solve complex user challenges.
  • Champion user-centered design principles across teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate design thinking into product development lifecycles.
  • Drive adoption of design solutions across teams to improve usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.


Core Expertise

  • Experience in project estimation, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, and executive-level communication.
  • Expertise in financial and benefits management, including business case development.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and implement mitigation strategies effectively.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, or related disciplines.
  • Proven success applying the Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) framework in technical and product environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in information architecture, visual design, and cross-platform user experiences.
  • Deep understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, and their impact on design.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale design systems and governance.
  • Background in financial services or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate complex ideas with clarity.
