We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Richmond, VA

Job Description:
Requirement/Must Have:
- Expert knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality engineering, and Agile testing best practices.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
- Experience in test automation tools and techniques to drive efficiency and coverage.
- Strong data analysis, verification, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with developers on unit and integration test coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in virtual or distributed environments.
- Proven experience in quality engineering/testing in Agile or SAFe environments.
- Hands-on experience designing test plans, test cases, and regression/automation frameworks.
- Experience capturing quality metrics and analyzing data for insights.
- Cloud or DevOps experience and certification is a plus.
- Design and establish quality measures, standards, and testing tools for applications and enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison or Quality coach between Quality Engineering and Agile/Delivery teams.
- Assist in reviews and validations throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead quality engineering efforts for cloud testing strategy and initiatives.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and feature-based testing roadmaps.
- Implement defect prevention techniques, tracking processes, and reporting metrics.
- Collaborate with developers, business personnel, and product owners to plan and execute unit, integration, system, regression, load, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Agile/SAFe methodology knowledge.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to design risk-based testing strategies and automate testing processes.
- Collaboration and leadership skills to influence development and business teams.
- Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications in Agile, SAFe, Cloud, or DevOps are a plus.
