Job Description:

A Java Business Process Model (jBPM) Developer in Irving, TX, is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business process management solutions using the jBPM framework. jBPM is an open-source workflow engine written in Java that executes business processes described in BPMN 2.0.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Design and Implementation:Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design and implement business processes using jBPM.
• Integration:Integrate jBPM workflows with existing enterprise applications and services.
• Customization:Develop custom nodes, event listeners, and handlers to extend jBPM functionalities as per business requirements.
• Testing and Debugging:Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the reliability and performance of business processes.
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of process designs, configurations, and user guides.
• Maintenance and Support:Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed processes, including troubleshooting and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with jBPM and BPMN 2.0.
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as Drools for business rules management.
  • Experience with Java frameworks and tools like Spring, Hibernate, and Maven.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
