Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Duration: 12+Months
Location: 100% Remote
Rate - $18/hr W2(without benefits)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Life Insurance team. The CSR will be responsible for handling client inquiries, assisting with policy information, resolving issues, and providing an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of life insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inbound customer calls, emails, and chat inquiries related to life insurance policies, claims, billing, and coverage details.
  • Provide accurate information on policy features, premium payments, beneficiaries, and coverage options.
  • Assist customers with policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Guide clients through the claims process, ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, state, and federal insurance regulations.
  • Accurately update and maintain customer records in CRM and policy management systems.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend additional products or services that align with their financial goals.
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments while ensuring seamless resolution.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, agents, and internal teams to support policyholders.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Basic knowledge of life insurance products, terminology, and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
