Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database applications using Oracle PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning, ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

  • Optimize and tune existing SQL queries for better performance.

  • Analyze data requirements, develop database solutions, and ensure data integrity.

  • Work closely with application developers and business analysts to design efficient database structures.

  • Create and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data migration scripts.

  • Develop and maintain complex stored procedures, views, and materialized views.

  • Ensure database security, backup, and recovery strategies are implemented effectively.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.

  • Strong experience with SQL, Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), and T-SQL.

  • Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

  • Knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.

  • Experience integrating PL/SQL with Java, .NET, or other application layers is a plus.

  • Familiarity with ETL tools (like Informatica, ODI, or DataStage) is an added advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
