General Summary:
The IT Delivery Manager will lead small to mid-sized global teams of IT professionals within an Agile framework, focusing on the successful delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions that support strategic business goals. This role is pivotal in enhancing team performance, nurturing talent, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the teams meet its delivery commitments, driving operational excellence, and maintaining a steady pipeline of valuable solutions. The IT Delivery Manager will work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to align priorities and deliver impactful outcomes. Additionally, they will mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional growth and implementing strategies to elevate overall team effectiveness.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week at our Chattanooga, TN campus.

Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technical experience (preferred).
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including software development or technology, with at least 1 year leading a technical team.
  • Experience using technical platforms such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, AWS, and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and experience managing Agile teams.
  • Proficient in Agile Project Management, including sprint planning and adherence to best practices.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle to guide technical teams effectively.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills with a focus on addressing skill gaps and team growth.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve obstacles that impact team performance.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to foster innovation and competitive advantage.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the team's overall delivery, ensuring high-quality Salesforce solutions and addressing issues proactively.
  • Maintain and prioritize a clear backlog of valuable work in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Lead sprint planning and facilitate smooth, timely releases of initiatives.
  • Remove obstacles to optimize team performance and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, such as test-driven development, peer reviews, and continuous integration.
  • Manage and collaborate with dependency teams to build and execute on a delivery plan
  • Use performance metrics to enhance team efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members to achieve higher performance levels and career growth.
  • Identify skill gaps and promote cross-training opportunities to strengthen team expertise.
  • Foster a self-organizing, empowered, and collaborative team environment.
  • Regularly review and update development plans for team members.
  • Stay informed about emerging technology trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Champion Agile values by focusing on delivering high-value business solutions.
