Description:
* A well-established organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst II to join its dynamic Information Security team.
* The selected candidate will focus on the configuration and monitoring of various security platforms to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information systems.
* This role requires a proactive individual capable of identifying and mitigating security threats effectively.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* 2-5 years of experience in configuring and monitoring information security platforms.
* Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, AntivirEDR, encryption, vulnerability testing, firewalls, web proxies, patch management, logging/auditing, identity access management systems, and network security.
* Strong understanding of network security, TCP/IP, and associated protocols.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Availability for occasional travel for training, conferences, and disaster recovery or offsite equipment support.
* On-call support 24/7 with a 30-minute response window as needed.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
Desired Skills:
* Experience providing guidance and support to junior security analysts.
* Familiarity with the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technological advancements.
Compensation:
Pay Range:$63000-$90000/Year
