Workday QA Analyst
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Workday QA Analyst to support their Workday HCM implementation through testing, validation, and user readiness activities leading up to go-live. This role sits on the client-side and is responsible for executing parallel, unit, and end-to-end testing cycles, validating configuration and security, supporting business users, and ensuring system readiness for production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end, unit, and parallel testing for Workday HCM and Payroll business processes
  • Validate payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, and employee life-cycle transactions
  • Perform and validate HR process flows including onboarding, terminations, time entry, absence, and benefits enrollment
  • Validate Workday business process framework routing, approvals, and security roles
  • Document test results, defects, and configuration issues and support retesting through resolution
  • Provide training and hands-on support to internal testers and business users
  • Assist with documentation, job aids, and user readiness materials
  • Answer functional and configuration questions and provide best-practice guidance
  • Support cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities
  • Create and run Workday reports to support testing and validation activities


Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM and Payroll experience
  • Experience executing parallel, unit, and end-to-end testing for Workday implementations
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll business process flows
  • Experience validating Workday security roles and business process frameworks
  • Strong documentation, testing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and operate as a trusted advisor in a lean environment
  • Proficiency with Excel and test tracking tools
