What You ll Be Doing
The Analyst, Reporting Applications will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL-based reporting solutions that ensure the accuracy and consistency of enterprise data. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders to deliver data insights through ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data models.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project management tasks, including prioritization, leading status calls, preparing meeting recaps, and escalating issues as needed.
- Design, develop, and test complex SQL queries and stored procedures tailored to business requirements.
- Build data models and meaningful views to streamline reporting capabilities.
- Validate and analyze data for accuracy and consistency across internal and external reporting needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure reporting deliverables meet end-user needs.
- Assist with data mapping and help users understand data warehouse relationships.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
- Review and optimize existing queries and procedures for performance improvements.
- Partner with senior analysts and developers to convert ad-hoc report requirements into standardized, production-ready reports and dashboards.
- Manage regularly scheduled reports and distributions.
- Perform other duties related to reporting and data analysis as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical problem solver with flexibility and professionalism.
- Proactive, dependable, and self-motivated work ethic.
- Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Project Management Certification.
- At least 2 years of experience developing complex SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL Server platforms (e.g., SSIS).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (functions, vlookup, etc.).
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Cognos, or Spotfire.
- Familiarity with supply chain management concepts.
