Job Title: ITS Third-Party Governance & Assurance Analyst II
Location: Remote
Must have VMO contract review experience ,Cyber Security Helpful but not required
Job Description:
We are seeking a TS Third-Party Governance & Assurance Analyst II to support the operation of our Vendor Management Office (VMO) and third-party risk management program. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders across IT, procurement, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity teams to evaluate vendors, review contracts, assess risk, and ensure third-party engagements meet internal and regulatory standards (HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate third-party vendors for compliance with IT, cybersecurity, and risk requirements.
- Support contract reviews, including service agreements and data protection clauses (e.g., SOC 2 reports).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vendors align with internal security and operational standards.
- Monitor vendor performance and track risk mitigation actions.
- Provide mentoring and support to junior analysts in vendor risk processes.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement for vendor governance practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, vendor management, or third-party risk.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, PCI DSS, and other compliance standards.
- Experience with contract negotiation and vendor oversight.
- Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, Security+, HCISSP, COBIT.
