The AI Center of Excellence at Cboe creates cutting-edge technology and provides practical education to drive AI innovation across the organization. Our goal is to provide the AI technology people need and teach them how to use it effectively. We think creatively and take inspiration from multiple disciplines. What You'll Do

You will work in Cboe's AI Center of Excellence to help build and maintain a leading-edge generative AI platform. The AI Analyst will assist in designing the cognitive architecture for AI-driven applications and agents, expanding the scope of Cboe's AI Platform, and developing novel AI solutions. Additionally, the AI Analyst will create and facilitate end-user education sessions focused on effective AI use.

The world of AI is constantly changing. The AI Analyst should be prepared and excited to think in a cross-disciplinary way about the design, implementation, and monitoring of AI agents and systems. Applicants from outside STEM disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Build and deploy generative AI-driven agents and applications.
• Support and improve Cboe's AI Platform.
• Establish and maintain best practices for deploying AI at the enterprise level.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct learning sessions on AI best practices.
• Design and implement benchmarking strategies for existing AI tools.

The ideal candidate has:

• Either:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in another discipline with demonstrated experience (academic or professional) building generative AI applications.
• 1-3 years professional/academic experience in python (pandas, numpy, and langchain).
• 0-2 years professional/academic experience writing performant SQL.
• Knowledge of current AI landscape and best practices (RAG, prompting strategies, tool use)
• Willingness to think creatively to explore potential use cases.
• A passion for working in financial markets.

You'll really stand if you have:

• Worked with cloud computing services (AWS, Snowflake preferred).
• Developed interesting or novel tools using AI
• Familiarity with NLP tools for summarization, sentiment analysis, etc.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $106,250-$131,250. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below:

US Geographic Differentials:

• 110%: Austin TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, San Diego CA

• 115%: Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA

• 120%: Boston MA, Washington DC

• 125%: New York City NY

• 130%: San Francisco CA

Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
