Job Details

Oracle Database Administrator (7+ yrs)

We are hiring an experienced Oracle DBA with 7+ years of hands-on expertise in managing, optimizing, and migrating Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Oracle 19c+, RMAN, Data Guard, performance tuning, and Azure Cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and manage Oracle DBs (cloud & on-premise).

  • Optimize performance via advanced query tuning.

  • Handle DB backup, recovery (RMAN), and disaster recovery (Data Guard).

  • Ensure DB security, access control, and auditing compliance.

  • Lead Oracle DB migration to Azure Cloud with minimal downtime.

  • Support Oracle 19c+ versions; familiarity with Oracle 23ai is a plus.

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure DB and app performance.

  • Maintain detailed DB documentation and proactive monitoring.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as Oracle DBA.

  • Strong in Oracle 19c+, SQL/PLSQL, performance tuning, RAC, Data Guard.

  • Experience migrating on-prem databases to Azure.

  • Knowledge of Oracle 23ai and Azure DB services is a plus.

  • Bachelor s degree in CS/IT or related field.

  • Oracle certifications (OCP/OCM) and scripting (Shell/Python) preferred.
