Job Overview:
The Software Engineer IV will oversee the development, modification, and maintenance of applications. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
- Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved operations.
- Install and configure systems and other software.
- Test installed software to detect malfunctions.
- Identify and resolve business systems issues.
- Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing applications, software, and operating systems.
- Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
- Monitor and test system performance.
- Oversee the training of junior engineers to enhance job skills and efficiency.
- Take full ownership of processes and act as a procedural expert.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Seven (7) years of experience in software engineering.
- Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve common objectives.
- Proficiency in conducting system analysis to detect performance issues.
- Capability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional executional capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and their integration
- Must have:
- Experience with .NET, NodeJS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in AWS, with the ability to demonstrate experience through a portfolio or certification.
- Expertise in CI/CD processes, with a passion for build and deploy automation.
- Strong observability skills, including the ability to instrument and review telemetry.
- Commitment to automated testing and ensuring code quality.
