Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist II to join our team on a contract basis in Lewis Center, Ohio. This role focuses on delivering exceptional technical assistance and resolving user issues across various systems and platforms. Responsibilities:
Provide second-tier technical support to resolve service desk tickets efficiently and accurately.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows 10 and other operating systems.
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user account creation and modifications.
Diagnose and address hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
Document resolutions and update knowledge base articles to improve support processes.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Offer guidance and training to users on system functionalities and best practices.
Assist in maintaining compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing user inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
Proficiency in Active Directory, including account management and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and related technologies.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic troubleshooting across hardware and software platforms.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users and team members.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
