Overview:

We are seeking a UAT Reporting Specialist who will support our client with the development, execution, and management of UAT test scripts. The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong analytical skills to translate business requirements and functional design documents into thorough UAT test cases, and excellent communication to collaborate with system integrators and stakeholders throughout the testing process. This role will be expected to validate and ensure client systems meet business needs.

Duties:

  • Test Script Development:

  • Analyze provided scenarios and production incidents to develop UAT test scripts for problem tickets.

  • Develop detailed test scripts, with an average of 20 steps per script, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.

  • Review Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and confirm functional outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the system integrator to clarify questions during the development process.

  • Test Script Execution:

  • Execute approved UAT test scripts for various release types (e.g., Patch, M&O, Enhancement).

  • Adhere to all documented tester actions, confirm testing prerequisites, and use expected results to determine Pass/Fail status.

  • Document all execution steps and results within the designated test management tool (JIRA).

  • Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track defects found during test execution in JIRA.

  • Provide detailed defect descriptions, including expected vs. observed behavior, steps to reproduce, and supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots).

  • Follow the established defect management process and support defect resolution and retesting.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree

  • 1 5 years of experience with a major project or organization

  • 1 5 years of experience with developing scenarios and test scripts, including execuring test scripts

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 1 5 years of experience with general IT Systems or formal training / education with IT systems

  • 2+ years of experience with Healthcare Systems

  • Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA Cycles, and Kanban), project management, Business Analysis, ITIL, or Similar

  • Masters degree
