Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, microservices architecture, and containerized solutions, along with expertise in Java and Node.js application development. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on AWS.

  • Develop and manage microservices-based applications using Java and Node.js.

  • Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to build CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native solutions.

  • Provide architectural guidance and best practices to development teams.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, and cloud layers.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.

  • Strong expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

  • Proficiency in Java and Node.js application development.

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

  • Good knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
