RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Maryland Heights, MO.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple credit fraud initiatives within IT. This individual will be responsible for managing complex, business-critical application development projects, collaborating with other project managers, and driving execution across both Agile and Waterfall environments. The role requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate organizational challenges while keeping programs on track.
Responsibilities:
* Project Manager will develop, maintain, and manage project timelines, roadmaps, and Gantt charts across multiple credit fraud projects
* Partner with 2-3 other Project Managers to ensure alignment across initiatives
* Lead end-to-end IT projects, tracking dependencies, risks, and issues with appropriate escalation
* Drive organization and accountability across technical teams (-herding cats-) to keep deliverables on track
* Collaborate with both Agile and Waterfall teams; Adapt to pushback and shifting priorities
* Translate technical concepts (e.g., APIs, web services) into clear communication for stakeholders
* Present project status, risks, and dependencies to VPs and GVPs with professionalism and political awareness
* As a Project Manager, you will ensure confidentiality and manage sensitive information effectively
* Handle conflict management and hard conversations with senior leaders when necessary
* Adapt quickly to constant change, driving progress forward despite challenges
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong Project Management and/or Program Management experience, specifically in Application Development and IT projects
* Proven technical project management experience-delivering projects from initiation through completion in IT environments
* Hands-on expertise with MS Project for project plans, Gantt charts, and roadmapping
* Familiarity with Jira, SmartSheets, and other project tracking tools
* Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills-comfortable engaging with VP/GVP-level leaders
* Professional demeanor, self-starter attitude, and strong organizational skills
* Ability to track dependencies, differentiate risks vs. issues, and escalate appropriately
Preferred Skills:
* Telecommunications industry experience
* Experience managing projects in highly regulated or sensitive environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
