Job Details
We are seeking a seasoned NOC Engineer Lead to oversee Tier 2 and Tier 3 support operations for a federal program in Washington, DC. This role requires all-day onsite presence and involves leadership in monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading complex network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Tier 2/Tier 3 NOC operations and process development
- Oversee device placements, reconfigurations, and performance reporting
- Design and implement network infrastructure upgrade patterns
- Manage system and server monitoring across LAN/WAN environments
- Ensure compliance with network performance and security standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and scalability
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in networking and server monitoring
- Strong expertise in system and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
- Proficient in network design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (CCNA/CCNP certified)
- Expertise with Juniper networks (preferred JNCIP-ENT certified)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Prior experience in NOC process development
