RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an intermediate/senior React Python Developer who is an up and coming lead in Columbus, Ohio (OH). This is a possible opportunity for full-time with the client and is a minimum contract of 6 months.
Duties:
* A mid-level developer looking to transition into a lead or junior management role
* Hands-on 50% development and 50% contribute to communication/coordination
* Candidate will serve as a -right-hand- to the manager
* Expected to understand and navigate multiple stacks
* No direct reports, but candidate should help guide team processes
* Works closely with teams in Columbus (3-4 devs) and Tampa (4 devs)
REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Stack:
* Python (Django preferred, but framework-agnostic if Python is strong)
* React preferred (or any modern component-based front-end framework, such as Vue)
* Java: Not required (team already has Java expert; minimal integration with Java) only a plus
* Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques
* Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
* Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
* Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
* Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software
Strong communicator who can:
* Participate in or lead code reviews
* Attend engineering meetings, break down technical concepts, and communicate them across LOBs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
