Job Description

The desired profile will have more than 10+ years of IT experience and minimum 5+ years of experience in the Oracle EPM suite of products with focus on Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud/ Cash Flow Forecasting.. FP&A with Planning and Budgeting knowledge is mandatory. Knowledge in other EPBCS modules is nice to have/ beneficial.

Technical and Functional:

• FP&A functional Lead with In depth knowledge in Oracle EPBCS/CashFlow Forecasting /FP&A processes.
• Expertise in CashFlow Forecasting processes of EPBCS Planning/EPM Cloud
• Expertise in Cash positioning, Long Rnge ash planning, Cash flow statements Planning / and Reporting
• Expertise in converting functional requirements into functional process solutions
• Experience in design and development of Planning data forms, business rules, workflow and security
• Experience in design and development of Essbase outlines, load rules, calculation scripts and security
• Should be able to quickly assess the financial planning landscape and work with customer to get the knowledge.
• Should be able to execute discovery workshops with C Board of the customers
• Should be able to support Documentation of current FP&A landscape
• Should be able to communicate with offshore team and validate their work
• Experience in Project planning starting from requirements gathering and entire project execution

Work responsibilities includes:

• Work with C Board of customer, senior leadership of client to discover, design Cash forecasting solutions in Oracle EPM PCF module.
• Review and understand forecast pain points /enhancement requirements (including functionality managed in Excel, Power BI, and other bolt-on solutions)
• Document near-term to medium-term cash forecasting process/functionality requirements.
• Document the forecast operations /governance model sequence and align it with the planning calendar /security changes.
• Define/design solution options in Predictive Cash Forecasting which provides pre-built, best practice out-of-box content including a dimensional model, line items, forecast methods, forms, dashboards, rules, and role-based navigation flows.
• Work with offshore team to build and test the same.
• Work with offshore team to Integrate new or updated data sources with Other solutions.
• Deploy enhanced capability (to eliminate the risk of unregulated peripheral systems affecting EPBCS stability and jeopardizing the forecasting process).
• Review and prioritize minor enhancement and data harmonization requests, working closely with engineering teams to ensure their implementation.

Ownership:

• Completely own the Oracle EPM/EPBCS/PCF track of Client and its roadmap
• To take ownership of issues and work on issue resolution

Leadership:

• Service Delivery: Ensure all the delivery parameters are met as per defined SLAs
• Recommend procedural and/or operational improvements in SOPs and SOIs for continuous improvement
• Document of new business and technical problems & resolutions assessing impact
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge to resolve issues in changing technology environments.
• Ensure all the delivery parameters are met as per defined SLAs
• Ensure all the processes are audit compliant as per policies
• Solution assessments for business problems

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Oracle for any application bug.
• Proactive and reactive management of support issues, including liaison with business users, system users, partners and 3rd party vendors.
• Interaction with multi-cultural global support teams and internal customers from various geographical regions / countries.
• Ensuring proper communication and coordination within support teams.
• Working or being 'on call' during non-working hours as project or emergency system maintenance requires.

Mentoring:

• Functional and business guidance to the team for complex and critical incidents
• Prepare and delivery of quality manuals / materials for support training

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on implementation / support experience in Oracle EPM/PBCS/EPBCs/Planning Cloud/PCF
• Should have good understanding of Finance business function FP&A
• Prior experience as a Techno-functional consultant/business analyst with direct interaction to overseas clients.
• Ability to work in a highly structured and process-oriented environment essential.
