Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Technology Architect with strategic analysis and enterprise-wide technology experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Facilitates research, design, development, and integration of emerging technology architectures to align with business strategy, goals, and objectives. Leads development of enterprise-wide technology architectures. Creates architectural principles to support business goals. Consults with senior managers and other IT professionals to develop IT frameworks that support business applications. Understands and models key business processes, business relationships, and impact of technology on business goals. Formulates conceptual architectures and communicates architectural vision, goals, and design objectives to multiple audiences. Leads the development of technology strategies and roadmaps for emerging technologies, evaluating usefulness, and making recommendations regarding selected technologies. Assists senior managers in developing the IT vision and strategy. Guides and consults with IT and business management regarding use of specific technologies and associated services. Identifies risks associated with current or new technology use.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Managing and problem-solving architectural or technical issues during the planning or delivery of program increment features and stories.
  • Build a strong partnership with Product Management and Architecture teams to ensure successful delivery of product roadmap.
  • Can deliver a global vision for Salesforce and cloud technology that engages senior leadership and stakeholders across both North America and Europe.
  • Engages with vendor partners to secure technical resources needed to execute technology projects.
  • Manages third party partners and vendors across lifecycle of programs, projects, and end-to-end solutions.
  • Works closely with technology and business senior management to fully understand delivery, functional and operational priorities across related business and technology roadmaps and in-flight product roadmaps.
  • Facilitates and leads governance and ownership discussions across functional groups, technology teams, and key stakeholders to identify and validate technology solution strategy, scope, plans, execution dependencies, and key deliverables.
  • Effectively manages personnel and technical issues associated with providing end to end delivery solutions to customers and stakeholders.
  • Advises and coaches team members on priorities, best practices, problem solving, technical direction, and standard methods.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years experienced required in related field (e.g. IT, Engineering, Software Product Development).

Qualifications:
  • Track record in delivering Salesforce based projects in Sales, Marketing and/or Service clouds.
  • Track record in delivering cloud native solutions including Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of program and portfolio management in services industries.
  • Excellent soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaboration to work effectively with stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization.
  • Experience in delivering complex and integrated systems -- comprising both on-premise and cloud-based hybrid architectures
  • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, project management and tactical planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in developing and managing project budgets

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00 - $164,120.00
