Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Center Operations Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform critical tasks to ensure smooth operations within a high-volume environment. You'll leverage process knowledge and sound judgment to complete work independently while escalating issues when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and coordinate incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order (PO) receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor (RMS) activities.
  • Maintain accurate physical inventory tracking, staging, and cycle audits.
  • Perform data corrections and support compliance activities for regulatory and certification audits.
  • Handle material movement, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management according to standard processes.
  • Safely destroy data-bearing devices (DBDs) following documented procedures and runbooks.
  • Support operational continuity during escalation-based situations with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of computer applications and software.
  • Previous data center or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Technology certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
  • Shift: A-Side, 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), Sunday-Tuesday (+ rotating Wednesday).

This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
