Job Details

Work Flexibility: Onsite

This position resides within the Endoscopy Business Unit, which focuses on cutting-edge electromechanical systems and equipment for minimally invasive surgery. In this fast-paced and highly regulated environment, you'll directly contribute to life-changing medical technology. We are seeking an Engineer with a strong foundation in electromechanical system design and testing. Ideal candidates will have experience in the medical devices, automotive, or similarly regulated industries.

What you will do:

Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Develop and execute solutions to a range of technical challenges of moderate complexity.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Advanced Operations, and Quality.

Design & Development
  • Design and implement electromechanical test systems for current and next-generation products.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and iterate on early product concepts.
  • Support equipment and process development for new product introductions (NPIs) and technology transfers.

Manufacturing Support
  • Lead or contribute to DFM/T, PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP documentation.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis, gauge R&R studies, and statistical analyses (DOE, Cp/Cpk).
  • Perform MSA studies and introduce new manufacturing technologies to improve process capability.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment and processes.

Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with Stryker's Quality System, applicable regulations, and the Stryker Code of Conduct.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough engineering documentation in support of design, development, and manufacturing activities.

What you need:
  • Bachelors in Engineering
  • 0 + years of experience

Preferred Skills:
  • Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with schematics, test equipment, and electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with process mapping and validation tools preferred.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
