Job Title : SAP PS-PPM
Location : Remote
Duration : Long term Contract

Job Description :
Key Responsibilities:
- The SAP PS-PPM consultant is responsible for the analysis and support of the SAP Project systems (PS) and Portfolio and Project management (PPM) areas to meet the business needs and deliver, maintain and troubleshoot the functionality.
- Provides specialist level functional and configuration support in designing SAP solutions in the areas of SAP PS, PPM.
- Understands the business processes and how the application functions and applies this knowledge to solve problems.
- Act as technical expert within the Project systems team, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
- Develops Functional specification and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.
- Support in document and execute Unit tests, integration and User acceptance testing.
- Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.
- Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality.
- Work with the Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
Mandatory skills:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP configuration with minimum Three End-to-End Implementations and at least three Support Projects.
- Good configuration knowledge of PS structures - WBS, Standard structures, Cost planning, Budgeting, Goods movement, Period-end processing Settlement.
- Experience in Implementing or support of Portfolio and Project management (PPM) and its integration with Project Systems module.
- Sound knowledge of SAP PS integration with other modules such as FI-CO-MM and other SAP solutions such as SAP Ariba and Concur is required.
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Global client exposure is a must.
Desired skills
- SAP Certification in PS and PPM modules will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of using SAP Solution Manager for managing projects and change management.
