  • Manage and support Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, and user workstations
  • Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify, procure, and deploy IT and networking assets
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0
  • Implement and maintain network segmentation, VPNs, and encryption protocols
  • Manage data backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint protection systems
  • Support licensing and connectivity for engineering tools such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB
  • Develop automation scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible) to improve system efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (MS preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise or small-company IT/network infrastructure
  • Strong proficiency in both Linux and Windows Server environments
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and switching
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, and SSO
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-171 / CMMC 2.0 compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to work independently as a one-person IT department
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Networking certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
  • Experience managing High-Performance Computing (HPC) or lab network environments
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) or DevOps workflows
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible) for automation and system management
  • Knowledge of MySQL or relational database management
