Description

SAIC is seeking an AV/VTC Technician on-site position in Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

VTC technicians require excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software and network connections. VTC technicians must have expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges, as well as hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points. The position will also support other associated activities, tasks, and projects in a very diverse and fast-paced test, operations-focused environment.

General duties will include:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining VTC endpoints
  • Installing and configuring VTC application and system software and upgrades
  • Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network connectivity issues
  • Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines


Qualifications
  • AA degree & 3+ years of experience OR HS Diploma & 5+ years of experience
  • Must currently hold an active Top Secret with Top Secret/SCI Clearance eligibility.
  • Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Must have valid US passport for travel outside of the United States
  • Thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software and network connections
  • Expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges
  • Hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points

  • Must be flexible and willing to work in a rapidly changing environment
