Description:
Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing and executing manufacturing plans.
Their day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to setup manufacturing process, layout updates, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment design to verify they re accurate and meet industry standards; prepare plans, coordinate multifunctional reviews, keep records and present executive reports.
To analyze potential impact of new Products, features and/or process to be introduced in the manufacturing operations. Testing and verification of functionality.
To lead implementation of processes, equipment, tooling and required infrastructure per client products and industry requirements.
To lead multidisciplinary teams may become actively involved, as required, to meet deadlines and resolve issues
To perform and execute training plans, prepare manufacturing document specifications, coordinate pilot builds, and capture and follow up all issues identified in the implementation process.
To keep records and present reports regarding new process setup.
To perform Manufacturing process readiness with cross-functional teams focused on Tooling, equipment and safety to guarantee the quality of the product.
To communicate project status to management during periodical reviews as well as execute escalation process as needed.
To support development and execution of training plans for new processes, tooling and equipment.
Managing suppliers readiness.
To define, manage, track and report project budgets regarding capital and expenses.
To coordinate design reviews with vendors, designers and other stakeholders as required.
To Keep records and complete process documentation including but not limited to PFMEA, standard work instructions, Process change request and buy off forms, Statement of work documents (SOW), design concerns, problem follow up sheets, etc.
To perform layout updates as required per new process and/or process updates.
Contractor Engineer should be adaptable and prepared to contribute to a variety of tasks to support other Manufacturing engineers to achieve new product introduction goals.
Target:
Provide service from a contractor Manufacturing Engineer specialist in process design, equipment procurement and installation and tooling design.
Specific requirements:
Bachelor s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing with a demonstrated history of successfully completing projects and leading new process setup.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ProE), and other engineering software (e.g., Minitab, MATLAB, or similar).
Team Center and NX experience
Experience with ERP systems and simulation software
Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, cycle time analysis, ergonomics, and facilities/layout design.
Working knowledge of advanced quality control tools, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., PFMEA, Pareto analysis, SPC).
Strong leadership skills including managing engineering teams and projects
Experience in preparing and managing project timelines, resources, and budgets
Highly effective written and verbal communication for creating technical documentation, reports, presentations, and working with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems.
Experience with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and industry-specific regulations.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing work environments.
Candidates should be adaptable and prepared to contribute to a variety of tasks as needed by the company and department. This role involves supporting manufacturing engineers and project managers across different stages of projects and must be open to assisting with any task required to help meet the team's objectives.

Previous experience in Automotive / Truck manufacturing industry or any other high-volume manufacturing world class industries.
