Title: Mac Admin Support Helpdesk Level 2
Location: Stamford, CT (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Rate: $35/hr on W2
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mac Administrator to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and user experience across Apple devices and software. The candidate will work closely with global IT teams and end-users to deploy, configure, maintain, and support Apple products, with a strong focus on Mac computers and related devices.
Responsibilities:
Configure, secure, deploy, and maintain Apple hardware and software.
Provide patch management, firmware updates, and ensure compliance/security.
Administer Apple OS installations and applications using JAMF (Cloud MDM solution).
Provide Tier-2 support for Apple-related issues.
Document and train end-users on Apple product usage.
Collaborate with IT administrators, engineers, and developers to ensure integration.
Research and recommend Apple technology updates and improvements.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding and IT ticketing (Ivanti ITSM).
Work with vendors as needed to maintain infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Apple Certified (ACSP or Apple Certified Mac Technician).
3+ years hands-on experience with Apple products (Mac OS, iOS).
Experience with MDM solutions (JAMF, Intune).
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, security best practices, and device management.
Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell).
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of Linux OS is a plus.
