Role Name: Automation web-based API testing for bank
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration 6-12 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a Senior Developer to work, Vault Batch Processing ,Shell Scripting & Automation, and API Testing based applications who are passionate about their work and embraces the ideals of the software craftsmanship and Agile development practices.
5-8 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based software applications.

Shell Scripting & Automation:
Develop and maintain robust Shell scripts to automate data ingestion and retrieval processes from Vault.
Ensure scripts are optimized for performance, error-handling, and logging.

API Testing:
Use SoapUI to test and validate SOAP-based APIs, including crafting input payloads and verifying output responses.
Collaborate with integration teams to troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.


Database Interaction:
Write and execute basic SQL queries using SQL Developer to validate data integrity and support troubleshooting.
Assist in data extraction and reporting tasks as needed.


Vault Batch Processing:
Develop or enhance Vault batch processes for handling input file operations using Java and Unix.
Monitor and maintain batch jobs to ensure timely and accurate data processing.


Middleware Support:
Provide basic support and troubleshooting for applications deployed on IBM WebSphere.
Work with infrastructure teams to resolve deployment or runtime issues.
