Updated Job Responsibilities:
  • Client Design Operations is focused on improving Design's operational efficiency through establishing unified tools, frameworks, and processes.
  • Client does this in partnership with Designers as well as client XFN partners.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and supporting design operations
  • Coordinate projects, making plans to accomplish goals and deliverables
  • Manage & support capacity
  • Craft and share comms; considering the right message tailored to the right audience
  • Define, maintain and refine rhythms of business
  • Contribute to sprint strategy, planning and facilitation
Skills:
  • Effective Communication: Facilitating effective communication (verbal & written) among team members and stakeholders to keep everyone informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle, adapting style or approach as needed.
  • Collaboration / Partnering: Collaborating with crossfunctional teams, including designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
  • Embracing Ambiguity: Quickly adjusts to new conditions and helps others do the same, working effectively through ambiguity and adversity
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Strong knowledge of the product design lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Education/Experience:
  • Deep experience working with portfolio management tools such as Jira, Wrike, Asana
  • Program Management within a design context

Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:
  • Client is looking for a DPM (Design Program Manager) to support the Design System Library, Infrastructure and Support teams within Client's Foundation Design organization.
  • This candidate will partner directly with a lead DPM (Design Program Manager), Product Design Manager and a number of Product Designers to continue team operations and deliver high priority projects for Client's Design System.

Pay Range: $50- $65/hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
